If pricing changes, Apple notifies subscribers ahead of time—and for larger increases, Apple requires you to opt in before the new price takes effect. When possible, we aim to grandfather existing subscribers by preserving their current price. (Apple supports “preserve current price for existing subscribers” as a pricing option.)

If your price was grandfathered (preserved), Apple allows subscribers whose subscription expires to resubscribe at the preserved price within 60 days of expiration. After that window, resubscribing typically uses the then-current price.
